Advent 2023: The Sacred ‘Not Yet’

Beloved Siblings,

Greetings to newcomers and welcome back to those familiar with Beautifulle! It's been a while since our last connection, so I'm super grateful to share something close to my heart with you. Much is weighing heavy in this cultural moment where many of us find ourselves between painful realities and our hope for something better—for ourselves, our families, and our global community.

This Sunday, December 3, marks the start of the Christian season of Advent where we lean into the sacredness of waiting. Between: Advent Reflections and Practices for the Holy ‘Not Yet,’ continues the tradition started by dear friend Kim Goode and me of offering resources to accompany you and to deepen your engagement with the season. It's a collection of reflections, art, journal prompts, breath prayers, and more, all centering Black voices with the intention of being as expansive and inclusive as God herself. I can't wait to share it with you in a few days.

Keep an eye on your inbox this Sunday, and feel free to forward this to anyone else who might be interested. They can click the button below to sign up. ✨

Sending peace and light your way🕯️,

Leonetta"
